Castlevania Bloodhorde: Character Creator UI

I’m thrilled to share my first submission for the UI Peeps Challenge!

The prompt was to design a Character Creation UI, which I used to expand on a personal project I've been developing for a while now, a fan design for an Extraction ARPG set in the Castlevania universe.

I set out to tell a story contained in a compact, one-screen interface. Character creation often takes place in a safe, neutral space, and this game world is anything but. Whispered warnings hint at punishing game mechanics, and defining your look involves choosing between sculpted death mask reliefs before the Hunter's life has even begun. This is not a game that will forgive mistakes or allow the player to go back on choices.

This challenge was a big reminder to me that a UI can shape the feeling of a game before a single step is taken into the world itself.
